Welcome
Welcome on my clay attic!
I hope that you like it to look around here.
My name is Magda Kleinleugenmors-Kunnen, I was born in South-Africa in 1962 and emigrated with my family to the Netherlands in 1971.
I’m married and my husband and I have a large family with whom we spend a lot of time and have much fun.
Since childhood I am creative and liked playing with clay, but after quite a lot of years of working and running our family, I rediscovered the clay. From 1992, at intervals, I joined several ceramic courses, with different teachers and their different angles of approaching the clay art. After several years I felt that my lack of knowledge of the technical side in ceramics were holding me back. I couldn’t always build or create what I had in mind, because I simply didn’t know how to. I also didn’t learn enough of these techniques at my craft classes. So, in 2004 I started (with some hesitation, but encouraged by my husband) with the craft vocational training at the SBB in Gouda, which I successfully completed three years later.
Since 2006 I have my own workspace on our attic . I began with the most necessary supplies and tools which expanded over time. I have a very comfortable workshop and I am very pleased with it.
If there is something on the site that appeals to you, if you have a question about anything or if you want to buy something, please contact me by phone or email. Basically I will try to shape anything, as long as I think it lies in my power and if I can find the time to do it.
